National Spelling Bee report

Sameer Mishra from Indiana beat 288 other spelling competitors

A 13-year-old from Indiana won the 2008 Scripps National Spelling Bee held recently in Washington, D.C.  Sameer Mishra from Indiana beat 288 other spelling competitors.

The annual event challenges young people in eighth grade or below to spell difficult words.
