       1) Mrs.  女士,夫人;  Ms. 小姐;    对不熟悉的女士称呼, Madam.

补充例句:

2. Suddenly

课文例句:  突然，她在公共汽车站附近看到一个男人。

                Suddenly, she saw a man near a bus stop.

补充例句：

                1) 忽然一声巨响。

                      Suddenly there was a loud noise.

                2) 我突然感到不舒服。

                     I feel ill suddenly.

3. smile

   课文例句： The man smiled pleasantly.

                       这人友好地笑了笑。

   补充例句：  你为什么笑？你在嘲笑我吗？

                       Why do you smile? Are you laughing at me?

4. pleasantly

补充例句： 1) 学生们在一起愉快的工作。

补充例句:

2. afford

原文例句: 这对我们来说太贵了,我们付不起这么多钱.

         That's too expensive for us,we can't afford all that money.

补充例句：

   1） 我买不起那辆车。

     I can't afford the car.

   2)  我能付得起，但我不想花那么多钱。

    I could afford it, but I don't want to spend so much.

3. deposit   预付定金

课文原文： Of course, you can pay a deposit of thirty pounds, and then fourteen pounds a month for three years.

补充例句：

           We left thirty pounds for a deposit.
